(includes Winnebago, Boone, Stephenson, Ogle, Dekalb, McHenry, Lee, Carroll, Jo Davies, Rock, and Green counties)    
Tournament Schedule 
  • Check-in: 8:15 - 8:45
  • Tournament begins 9 AM sharp

Format

  • 3 sections: K-2, 3-5, 6-8
  • Swiss Pairings, unrated
  • 5 rounds, time control G30

Entry fee

  • $12 if postmarked by 1/30
  • $18 after 1/30 rec'd by 2/3
  • $25 after 2/3 and on-site
  • Limited to first 200 entries
 Individual Awards per grade (no tie-breaks)
  • Trophies to top 3 places
  • Medals for 4th place
  • Ribbons for 5th thru 8th place
  • Participation ribbons for all! 

Team Awards  per section (with tie-breaks)

  • Trophies to all teams of 4 or more
    (based on sum top 4 scorers on team)
