Host the Rockford Chess Challenge and raise money for your club!

Financial benefits:

Host site receives 100% of all concession profits

Host site receives maximum $3 per paid tournament attendee

Requirements

The host site is responsible for provide space, tables, chairs, and concessions for the tournament,

Rough estimates for the tournament sizes (plus or minus 20%)

Tournament play area requirements

Quiet and closable

Table calculation: assume 2.5' clearance per board, 2 players per board.
Example: 8' table holds 3 boards for 6 players
Chair calculation: 2 per board (bench seating acceptable)

Table for scorers near exit door

Table for Tournament director near scorers and electrical outlet

Spectator area (optional). Physically located away from players

Skittles area requirements

Other:

Host site must have a facilities contact during the tournament

Host site is encouraged to physically limit access to elsewhere.

Host site is responsible for setting up and breaking down tables and chairs.

Host site is encouraged to use this opportunity to promote themselves to guests
