Terms and Conditions: Two sections, Varsity, and Fresh-Soph/ Extras/ below

60 minute sudden death time control

8 player varsity (same scoring as state tournament) Only 1 team per school.

Fresh/Soph/extras 5 players per team,

enter as many teams as you wish. Individual players will be placed on teams.

Scoring 3,2,2,2,1 on Boards 1-5

Three rounds

Times: Check in Time 8:00 to 8:30 A.M.

Round 1 9:00 A.M.

Round 2 11:10 A.M.

Round 3 1:30 P.M..

Awards 3:30 P.M.

Awards: Ribbons to all competitors!!

Entry Fee: $15.00 per team of 5 or 8 or $3.00 per student and we will place you with others to form a team. Cash or make checks to North Boone.

Food: The North Boone Chess Club will operate a concession stand between 8:00 and 2:00.

Parents or coaches must chaperone their Students! Pairings will be computer generated as will all tiebreaks. The tournament will end at approximately 3:30 PM. Students may be picked up at that time. Some chess sets will be provided but please bring your own chess set if you have one.
